The One with the Purple Cauliflower
I stopped by a small local farm yesterday—nothing huge, just a simple setup with a small selection (which I honestly love).
They had a few heads of cauliflower, all the usual white ones… and then right there on top, the last one sitting out—purple !
Of course I grabbed it.
No real plan—just one of those “I’ll figure it out” moments.
Lately, I’ve been on a whipped feta kick, so that was already on my mind. It’s creamy, a little tangy, and just makes everything feel a little more put together without doing too much.
So I kept it simple.
Fresh cauliflower, whipped feta… and a drizzle of honey—because apparently I’m in my drizzle-honey-on-everything era right now.
And honestly? It works.
The crunch, the creamy, the sweet, the salty—it’s just one of those combinations that doesn’t need much else.
I added a thin slice of mini cucumber for a little freshness and finished it with some microgreens—just enough to make it feel complete without overthinking it.
Nothing overcomplicated. Just starting with one good find and building from there.
